Description
The low weight soil aeration device allows the injection of air in batches.
The VOGT Soil aerator reaches deep-seated, compacted soil layers and releases a large amount of compressed air, which opens the sealed capillary. The aeration hole is filled with a supporting granulate (Terramol), which removes stagnant moisture in long-term and allows oxygen to reach the roots.
Different options for soil ventilation
Soil aeration measures are becoming increasingly important due to the increasing frequency of extreme weather conditions and ever larger construction projects in cities and urban areas. Long periods of drought in summer harden the sealed soil. This prevents the roots of urban trees and shrubs from receiving nutrients.
This situation can only be improved in the short or long term by aerating the soil. No heavy equipment is required for this - the simple machine for aerating the soil is just as effective as it is sufficient.
Eliminate waterlogging with soil aeration
The construction of a new house includes sealing the paths, terraces and parking spaces. The subsoil is dense topsoil. After several days of rainfall, rainwater accumulates on the compacted soil layer without being able to drain away. If dry days follow, no moisture can rise through the compacted soil layer by capillary action. In this situation, soil aeration with a ventilation lance helps. The subsoil is loosened using compressed air and the resulting cavities are then filled with Terramol. Now the surface water can drain away permanently. The soil is well ventilated and, conversely, the water from the subsoil can rise unhindered.
